Steve attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL and graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy and earned his CPA certificate shortly thereafter.     Steve met his wife Jacquie in 1973 and we were married in May 1974.

“I left the church as a teenager and was unchurched during my 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.” During this time, my wife Jacquie and I lived in Champaign/Urbana, IL, Carol Stream, IL, Boulder, CO, DeKalb, IL, the San Francisco Bay area and moved to St. Petersburg in 1994. I worked in the accounting field as an Analyst, Cost Accountant, Controller, and CFO, during that period. I also completed my MBA at San Francisco State University and received APICS certification during that period.

“Jacquie and I came back to the church in 2000 and have seen our faith grow by leaps and bounds.” I retired from the corporate world about a year ago and have been working as Church accountant and Treasurer since. Additionally, Steve plays bass guitar in the Reach Service Praise Band, is an Elder and his wife Jacquie is a Deacon.

Kimber George - Administrative Assistant -

Being raised a Presbyterian, and as a Girl Scout (earned my Gold Award) I have a different way at looking and associating with the world around us, and that includes leading and teaching. I played college basketball, and worked part time while earning my BA and then worked full time while earning an MBA in Accounting (both) from Webber International University, Babson Park, Florida. I worked in several different professional arenas before my path brought me to NEPC, including medical, hospitality, municipality, etc. I have a 5 year old daughter and a husband that keep me busy and fulfilled, not to mention a strong bond with both my parents and my in-laws. In addition to working and my strong family ties, hiking and exploring the world around me is what keeps me grounded and bonded to my family, the Lord, NEPC, and all that is around me. I live to serve, and to lead.
