Who are we?
Northeast Presbyterian Church is a congregation
of caring Christians, who worship God with celebration and awe, thankful
to be loved by God and determined to serve Him. It is our joy to stand
together as we exalt Christ, enjoy community as his disciples, and
make it our mission to lead others to him.
What do we believe?
We believe much more than this, but the basics
of our faith include these core beliefs:
- There is one true God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- The Bible is the written Word of God, true in everything it affirms
- Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord, who gave himself to forgive sin and save us
- Jesus was raised from death and lives, so that we may live with him eternally
- Each individual must make a commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- The power of the Holy Spirit enables Christians to live their faith before the world
Where are we located?
A church is more about people than a street
address, but you can find us in Northeast St. Petersburg, Florida,
where we have served in the heart of the vibrant Shore Acres
neighborhood as a Presbyterian
Church USA congregation for 40 years.

Our facilities are growing, as we have
secured adjacent property in order to expand the range of our
ministries. We have been under construction many times in our
more than three decades in this location, and this says a lot
about who were are as a congregation--growing wider physically,
but also deeper spiritually.
What do we look like?
Our church is an evangelical and biblically
grounded congregation of 175 members. We enjoy strong congregational
unity, warm worship, a high level of lay involvement and a tradition
of steady and focused biblical preaching.
Our Mission and Vision
Northeast Presbyterian Church longs to share
Christ with our community,
to declare the authority of Scripture,
to care for those within and beyond our congregation, and
to prepare believers for discipleship and service.
Our vision for ministry is about care:
We care enough to hold our ministry accountable to biblical standards
We care enough to provide worship satisfying to God
We care enough to educate and grow our membership toward Christlike maturity We care enough to be a hospital for the hurting
We care enough to model Christian integrity
We care enough to live the love that God showed the world
At the heart of our ministry rests the unshakable truth:
Salvation is by God’s grace alone
through faith alone
in Jesus Christ alone
according to Scripture alone.
